Computer is the worst player ever in the history of this ancient game lol

I love the board, however it could be much more challenging. I do wish it had an undo feature to change your move if you wish.

Why no undo?

New version has way too many ads, and has a glitch where the screen rotates 90 degrees and you cant play. Also wish you could take back moves every now and then. Computer does make some stupid moves too. Pretty easy even in hard setting. But you feel smart when you win so much! I am addicted.

Very user friendly, this game gives you all the excitement of Backgammon while providing all of the convenient short cuts that video gaming provides.

Its a pretty good backgammon, though it still glitches at times. In progress games sometimes cannot be returned to after exiting the app. The game simply will not resume. No dice, no moves, nothing. Its as if the computer player does not realize its its turn. Other than that is a lot of fun. More backgrounds and checker styles would be nice.

Couldnt put up with the auto-play video ads which interfered with the music. Cant have that. Try again, guys.

The hard level is not challenging enough for a single player...otherwise good. Please add a level.

If you ever want to win, this game isnt for you. The dice will favor your opponent, especially towards the end. The algorithm doesnt add up. If you read other reviews youll see other people are experiencing the same thing.

The computer cheats with the dice! If it needs a 1, it gets a 1, if it needs a 5, it gets a 5. If you need a number, you will not get it! It also needs an UNDO feature, for those times your hand hits the wrong spot by accident.

It would be nice if there were more levels of difficulty so that could be challenged.

Graphics are kind of chunky. Its a little slow and you cant undo moves.

This free app is really ok but it could easily be better with a few minor tweaks. Its really really easy. The computer makes really dumb moves sometimes and I seem to get exactly the right dice a lot of the time. On medium I easily won 9 out of ten games. I now play on hard and I still win 7 out of ten. Maybe thats the developers way of keeping me looking at the ads. But heres how it could be better. 1. The red and black pieces are too close to the same color and its hard to tell them apart sometimes. 2. There needs to be an undo button. Even in real backgammon you can change your mind when you make a wrong move but not in this game. 3. Make it a little more challenging

I tried another version and found the ads to be annoying while playing the game. The graphs, logic, and ads in this game are tastefully done.

Im starting to learn the game so this is a really good one to learn from. Its not super fast & super hard. It goes at just the right pace for us beginners- and I even win some!

It helps pass the time if your waiting on something. The AI makes stupid moves. I play on hard mode and I have won around 400, AI around 15.

Frustrating game as computer makes plays that are pretty stupid, often leaving open stones close to or in its home. This makes level 1 and 2 unrealistically easy and boring. Continues the same in level 3, but gets away with it as dice rolls favor the computer with perfect rolls and frequent doubles, while the human player gets poor rolls. Played game while rolling real dice and the computer rolls were so far from reality it makes this game no fun at all. Im deleting this game in search of another backgammon game that is challenging, but realistic (if thats possible).

As long as you select Red as your color, the game plays fine. If you select Black as your color, the game freezes up after a few moves. This has happened to me three times. Please fix this! Also, even in the most difficult mode, an avid player can easily beat the computer. In general, app is not enough of a challenge.
